Movement: Santiago Calatrava

When considering movement in architecture, there is no better example that comes to my mind than Santiago Calatrava. Here is a timelapse of the Milwaukee Art Museum:

And if you're intrigued about Calatrava here is a great 12min doco about him:

About Me

Hi All. Welcome to the blog for the Chris Freeburn Studio Group of ARCH1101. I am the director of the firm 'Ironbark Architecture'. We work on primarily residential projects that curate an engagement with the natural environment blurring the lines between indoors and outdoors, encouraging our clients to engage with the outdoor environment rather than shutting themselves away from it.

Some Perspective

“A playful mind is inquisitive, and learning is fun. If you indulge your natural curiosity and retain a sense of fun in new experience, I think you'll find it functions as a sort of shock absorber for the bumpy road ahead.”
- Bill Watterson
